The wedding ceremony is a joyous and public covenant between two persons whose lives have been nurtured in the church of Jesus Christ. When a couple is married in the church, they are making a public witness about their relationship with each other, with the Christian community, and with God.
Steps to Scheduling Your Wedding
- Check the church calendar to be sure your date is available.
- Download the Wedding Policies Brochure to determine if SCC is right venue for you.
- Contact the Wedding Coordinator or call the church office to schedule an appointment. The Wedding Coordinator will assist you with plans involving our facility and staff.
Events at SCC
Our facility has several areas that can accomodate various group sizes, purposes and technology requirements. While the SCC membership will be given first priority, outside groups are encouraged to contact the church office for availability and pricing. For all events, please check the church calendar to be sure the date and room is available.

Do you need to be a member of SCC to hold your wedding at SCC or use the building for an event?
No. You do not need to be a member.
What is the seating capacity of the sanctuary?
250 guests can be seated comfortably in our sanctuary.
Can I have my reception at the church?
Yes. The Fellowship Hall can comfortably accommodate 200 guests. The Gathering Place can accommodate 75 guests.
