Chancel Choir

The Southport Christian Church Chancel Choir is made up of hard working individuals who love to worship our Lord through song. They sing a variety of repertoire throughout the season (September - May) for the 10:30 a.m. traditional worship service. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 7:00 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. There is no audition required.

Praise Band & Singers (9:00)

Directed by Leah Trigg

The 9:00 a.m. Praise Band and Singers lead worship by playing/singing contemporary christian standards. This music ensemble is made up of piano, bass, drums, guitar and vocalists. They rehearse on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm throughout the entire year. There is an audition requirement to be involved in this ministry.

On Sunday, December 11th, our choir led worship by singing the Christmas portion of Handel's "Messiah".

Children's Choir

Directed by Sandy Pritchett

Pre-K through 5th grade have an opportunity to learn about music and sing songs of praise during the school year.

2nd- 5th graders also have the opportunity to learn to play the recorder. Check the church calendar for rehearsal times and dates.
