SCC Film Festival

Join us each Friday evening in February at 7:00 p.m. for a movie, soda and popcorn. On February 3, we’ll watch Gregory Peck in the 1944 movie, “The Keys to the Kingdom.” On February 10, we’ll watch “My Name is Bill W.” from 1989. This stars James Woods and James Garner in the inspiring story of how Alcoholics Anonymous got started. On February 17, we’ll watch “Searching for Bobby Fischer” from 1993. This warm-hearted movie is about a young chess prodigy and his parents’ struggle to deal with his unforeseen genius. We’ll conclude the Film Fest on February 24 with one of the great musicals of all time, “The Bandwagon” from 1953. It stars some guy named Fred Astaire and some woman named Cyd Charisse, both of whom have been known to dance a step or two.
