Children & Youth Schedule for Sunday Morning
Nursery
Infant and toddler care (up to age 2) is available in our Nursery from 8:30am - 11:45am.
Ages 2 to 3 years old
Young Preschool ages will experience the "Gather 'Round" curriculum which includes a Bible story, worship moments and a variety of ways for the children to respond to the story. (offered at both 9:00am and 10:30am)
Ages 4 to 5 years old
Older Preschool ages will also experience the "Gather 'Round curriculum which includes a Bible story, worship moments and a variety of ways for the children to respond to the story. (offered at both 9:00am and 10:30am)
Kindergarten to 2nd Grade
During the 9:00am hour, this age group will experience the "Gather 'Round curriculum which includes a Bible story, worship moments and a variety of ways for the children to respond to the story.
During the 10:30am hour this age group will experience Children Worship & Wonder which uses ritual and simple manipulatives to open children up to worship and hearing the Bible stories.
3rd - 5th Grade
During the 9:00am hour, this age group will experience the "Gather 'Round curriculum which includes a Bible story, worship moments and a variety of ways for the children to respond to the story.
During the 10:30am hour, this age group will experience Following Jesus which is a similar class to Children Worship & Wonderwith additional Bible stories.
Youth Classes
2012 Seekers Becoming Disciples Class
Youth in grades 6-8 will have the opportunity to explore what it means to be a Christian and prepare to become a member of SCC. Class begins in January 2012.
Chi Rho (for 6th - 8th grades) and CYF (for high school)
During the 10:30 am hour this group will share in worshipful moments and spend time with a Bible story or passage each week.
